Recognition for strong growth – iC Consult receives award from the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs
On July 23, 2018, the iC Consult Group received the coveted award for the first time. The gala evening and award ceremony with Bavaria's Minister of Economic Affairs, Franz Josef Pschierer, took place in the New Schleissheim Palace. This year, various auditors and tax consultants of the interdisciplinary law firm Peters, Schönberger & Partner from Munich acted as jurors. In addition to a constant and sustained increase in sales and personnel, the prerequisites for participating in the tender were a high equity ratio and good profitability. We won over the jury by demonstrating sustained sales growth in recent years, as well as strong personnel development. In the past twelve months alone, we’ve hired over 50 new employees, including our subsidiaries xdi360 GmbH and Service Layers GmbH. The latter was founded in summer of 2017.
As a company founded in Munich, this award is of course a source of pride for us. Although we now operate worldwide, we still see our entrepreneurial activities as a contribution to strengthening and expanding the economic power of the State of Bavaria.
We have been in business for more than 20 years and are the largest vendor-independent system integrator for Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions today. We owe this above all to our more than 260 employees and the partnership with our long-standing customers, who keep us up-to-date with new ideas.
Even if we are not allowed to apply for the “Bayerns Best 50” award again next year, we want to continue to expand the success of iC Consult Group through technological leadership and innovative process and strengthen the region’s economy.
The Munich metropolitan area ranks among Europe’s top innovation hubs and is known internationally for its highly developed, leading companies. This would not be possible without entrepreneurs who take risks, seize opportunities for growth and development, are flexible, create jobs, and thus contribute to the high standard of living in Bavaria. The Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Energy and Technology launched the ‘BAYERNS BEST 50” competition 17 years ago in order to give owner-managed companies the public recognition they deserve. Since then, the 50 fastest-growing mid-sized companies with above-average employee and sales growth over the past five years, have been honored annually.
